Crystal Clear Recovery carries the message of recovery to individuals affected by crystal meth addiction and others seeking freedom from addiction. Through its annual Crystal Clear Dallas recovery conference, sober community events, volunteer opportunities, workshops, fellowship, and support, the organization creates welcoming spaces for people in recovery to connect, learn, and grow. Their work is centered on strengthening the recovery community in Dallas and beyond through connection, service, and shared experience.
The Greg Dollgener Memorial AIDS Fund provides critical financial assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS throughout North Texas when other resources have been exhausted. Founded in memory of Greg Dollgener, whose compassion and service inspired those around him, GDMAF helps individuals facing urgent needs such as rent, utility payments, medication costs, transportation, and other unexpected emergencies. Since 1996, the all-volunteer organization has provided more than $500,000 in assistance to over 3,000 people across the community.
LGBTQ SAVES, founded in 2010 by Air Force veteran and educator Sharon Herrera, was created in response to the heartbreaking rise of LGBTQ youth suicides. What began as a small gathering in Sharon’s backyard has grown into a thriving nonprofit dedicated to empowering and uplifting LGBTQ youth across North Texas. The organization provides safe and brave spaces where young people can be themselves, offering resources such as youth-led events, scholarships, community dinners, and both in-person and virtual support groups. Their mission is to ensure every young person feels seen, supported, and safe, with a vision of building a community where all LGBTQ youth can thrive. Today, LGBTQ SAVES stands as a beacon of hope, resilience, and love for countless young people and their families.
