The Dallas Bears is a community based organization that is committed to benevolent and charitable services, fundraisers and support for other non-profit organizations in the Greater Dallas Community.  As a membership organization, we strengthen our bond and resources by promoting social activities for our members.  Our social activities are open to all men that share in our common goal of serving our community, having fun, participating in fellowships and nuturing lasting friendships.

Article Eleven - Amendments to By-Laws

  • Changes or amendments to the By-laws must be made by a vote of the membership.
  • Proposed changes/amendments must be in writing to include the by-law as it currently reads and the how the proposal of the suggested amendment reads.
  • The by-law amendment must be presented to the membership in writing at a monthly membership meeting.
  • The proposed amendment will be discussed in open forum.  The proposal will be set aside to the following month and then placed as an official motion, discussion and vote.
  • In a meeting in which a quorum is present a simple majority of the voting members present is required to amend these by-laws.
